Visit to Wexford fire station

Such a fantastic day and the kids really enjoyed it. We would like to say a special thanks to the Jack and John at the fire station🔥🚒 for taking the time to show us around and to Jess Glynn for organising our trip as part of the Junior Achievement Programme she is undertaking in the school. Also, a huge thank you to all the parent helpers who joined us today as our fun trips would not be possible without their help!Lianna’s Seniors and First Class braved the weather today and made it to the fire station without getting wet (well maybe just a little on the way back!) but it was worth it. About our school

Multi-denominational – children of all denominations and none are equally welcome into our school. Co-educational – Educate Together schools are open to girls and boys and gender stereotyping is addressed and challenged. Child-centred – this applies not only to teaching and learning within the classroom but to all decisions at staff and management level, which must have the well-being of the children at their heart. Democratically-run – parents are viewed as a positive resource for the school. Parental involvement is welcomed and encouraged, where appropriate.
